Yulia Tymoshenko: Batkivshchyna will be a strong party, worthy of people’s votes

"There are many who can’t handle the political work, the political struggle, or the confrontation with this anti-Ukrainian government. They take their money, job offers and cooperate with them… But the team that will remain will include strong people capable of concluding the struggle for Ukraine’s independence," Yulia Tymoshenko said today on Channel 5, commenting on the recent decision by BYuT to expel three MPs from its ranks.

Weeding out the weak will strengthen the party on the central and regional levels, she believes. "There are always weak people, and strong people. As is the case in our team. The weak will leave and the party will become a strong and worthy choice for the people."

As reported, on September 6 BYuT expelled three deputies from its ranks – Bohdan Hubsky, Ivan Denkovych and Arnold Radovets – for working with the ruling government to obstruct Batkivshchyna’s participation in the local elections.
