"I propose reminding Yanukovych that there is a people in Ukraine and on September 7, the first day that parliament is back in session, to gather and announce a national meeting in every city, in every oblast and by the Verkhovna Rada," Yulia Tymoshenko said today during a rally honoring Ukrainian Independence Day, held by the Taras Shevchenko monument tin Kyiv.

"This will be a major strike against their moves to increase tariffs, to raise the retirement age, to adopt a Tax Code that does away with small business, against the fact that today bribery is at its peak, against everything that is repression and discrimination against you."

"I think that we will do all the organizational work so that this action is large and powerful," said Tymoshenko.
