Cabinet allocates emergency funds to Berdychiv
The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated 3.435 million hryvnias from the stabilization fund to fix the main sewage pumping station in Berdychiv, Zhytomyr oblast. Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has signed the corresponding order.
In Berdychiv on July 7, 2009, due to a malfunction of electrical equipment at the main sewage pumping station, the entire station was flooded with sewage, causing sewage to flow into the Hnylopiat River at a rate of 417 cubic meters per hour.
