Political analyst: vote in Luhansk artificially being recounted in favor of Yanukovych
The results of the vote in the Luhansk oblast are being artificially recounted in favor of Viktor Yanukovych, in order to significantly improve his numbers.
"As we see from the latest figures, the results from the Luhansk oblast are being delayed... I think that the margin, which has fallen to 2%, will be slightly increased in order for Yanukovych's victory to appear to be greater," the deputy director of the Agency for Modeling Situations Oleksiy Holobutsky said during a press conference.
According to him "based on information coming from the Luhansk oblast, the district commissions are conducting a recount which is totally uncontrolled."
