Yulia Tymoshenko: simplified procedure for obtaining housing subsidies is a joke
Claims by officials that the procedure for obtaining housing subsidies has been simplified is a complete sham, says Batkivshchyna Party leader Yulia Tymoshenko.
"People who handed out documents such as income and property declaration forms to people applying for housing subsidies should be prosecuted," Yulia Tymoshenko said today on the Ukraina Channel.
In her opinion, the requirement that a citizen provide documentation for all goods purchased in the past 12 months is absurd. "Don’t just put together a list, get a document for everything. We counted that an old lady will have to collect 72 certificates to get a housing subsidy. Tell me, is there even one person in our country who will apply for this subsidy?"
