BYuT will not join the coalition under any configuration

_dsc3017.jpgBYuT will not attend today’s meeting between the president and leaders of parliamentary factions because it has no intention of joining the new coalition.

"In no way will BYuT, in any configuration, join a coalition. Our official position has been passed along to the president and so there’s no reason for us to be there," Mykola Tomenko, one of the leaders of BYuT, said.

"As I understand, the conversation will be very delicate, because everyone wants to be in the government but they can’t divide up the posts. So we won’t disturb them while they do this," he explained.

Mykola Tomenko predicts that the new government will include many new vice prime ministers, because there’s "one government, many who want to work in it, and few posts."

"I think that today’s negotiations will put a close to the story with the coalition," he concluded.
