BYuT will vote for Dmytro Tabachnyk’s dismissal
"All our 148 deputies in the Verkhovna Rada will vote for the dismissal of this minister. Our position remains unchanged," Serhiy Sobolev said.
BYuT plans to complete negotiations with representatives of Our Ukraine - People’s Self-Defense regarding this issue.
"I think Tabachnyk’s fate was decided by the teachers and students who understand what kind of a minister of education says that one part of Ukraine doesn’t exist, that Halychyna doesn’t exist because these are Polish Ukrainians and it’s unclear who really lives there," he said.
Serhiy Sobolev also noted that “criminal charges are filed for inciting hatred among nations like this” and that he believes history and the people will let it be known what they think of such statements and actions by the minister.
He also added that BYuT will not allow a return to the old corrupt system of testing and admissions to institutions of higher education.
