Don’t expect reforms from communist-oligarch government

kabmin-1.jpgAccording to People’s Deputy Andriy Shevchenko (BYuT), we shouldn’t expect serious reforms and changes from the new government in Ukraine.

"From a political perspective, it’s very difficult for me to imagine that a communist-oligarch government that represents the interests of communists and big business can implement major reforms," Andriy Shevchenko said.

"What should be expect? As if we don’t know who’s in this government. As if we don't know about Tabachnyk and his statement that people from Halychyna are not Ukrainians, or Yuriy Boyko and his RosUkrenergo. I’m not talking about their professional or intellectual level, but their odious reputations," the parliamentarian said.

Andriy Shevchenko also noted that the new government set a record in terms of numbers. "I see no sense in having so many vice prime ministers."

"I don’t think we can expect this government to implement the serious changes they promised their voters. Our job is to minimize the harm that can be done by this government," Andriy Shevchenko emphasized.
