Yulia Tymoshenko: voters will determine the quality of local government
Batkivshchyna Party leader Yulia Tymoshenko is urging people to vote in the October 31 local government elections.
"Elections will be held on October 31. Don’t ignore them, because local government sets rates for utilities and municipal services. If you give these people the right once again, they will do what Viktor Yanukovych said several days ago – raise tariffs for all utilities and municipal services by 30%," Yulia Tymoshenko said while appearing tonight as a guest on a program on the Ukraina Channel.
The leader of the Batkivshchyna Party is convinced that the quality of the majority that will be formed in local councils and the decisions they pass will depend on the voters. "Fight for yourself and I will fight with you. I was with you and remain so, regardless of my position in government or if I am in the opposition."
