Volodymyr Bondarenko: elections demonstrated cynicism of current President

People’s Deputy from BYuT Volodymyr Bondarenko believes the presidential elections demonstrated "the meanness and cynicism of the current President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko, who behaved like Viktor Yanukovych’s proxy."

"This entire time Viktor Yushchenko was playing a means secret game with Viktor Yanukovych," Volodymyr Bondarenko said on Channel 5.

According to the parliamentarian, Viktor Yushchenko ensured that changes to the election law were adopted, which by world practice can be considered as "a special law for falsification."

Volodymyr Bondarenko noted that the results of these presidential elections "were not made today, but in advance."

He noted that it’s very difficult to fight in such a situation. "We will appeal to the world – let them look at all these violations – and we will appeal to the citizens of Ukraine."

Volodymyr Bondarenko believes it’s very difficult to call these elections fair. "These elections showed that we not only returned to 2004, but even further back. It’s very important for us for elections to be fair. We will certainly recognize fair elections," he concluded.
