Yulia Tymoshenko: we must realize that Ukraine is an indivisible state

pr_b1519.jpgYulia Tymoshenko believes separatist attitudes are unacceptable in Ukrainian society and is urging people to realize their national identity and unity.

"We need to urgently stop all talk and insinuations about Halychyna [western Ukraine], Donbas, Crimea, Kharkiv or any other territory breaking off," Yulia Tymoshenko said today during a rally marking Ukrainian Independence Day, held by the Taras Shevchenko monument tin Kyiv.

"We need to clearly say that Ukraine – from Luhansk to Transcarpathia, from east to west, from north to south – is one unitary and indivisible state and no one should even think about division and weakness," said the leader of the Batkivshchyna Party.

Yulia Tymoshenko stressed that provocation of discord in society is suitable for the current political power because this will allow them to transform the people into an unenlightened mass that is incapable of fighting for its rights.

"We need to put a stop to the agreession between parts of society, stop accusing those in Donetsk, Kharkiv and Crimea of “you voted for Yanukovych and threw Ukraine into this whirlpool."

Yulia Tymoshenko urged Ukrainians to "love one another and not allow those that broke through to power to find people to blame."

"Love one another, from Donetsk, Crimea, Luhansk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Lviv, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv and all the other corners of our native land," said Yulia Tymoshenko.
