Cabinet wants business fundamentals to be taught in schools
The Cabinet of Ministers has given the Ministry of Science and Education three months to look into introducing the subject "business fundamentals" in general education schools. The corresponding order was signed by Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
The government also instructed the Ministry to develop a play for developing a system of training skilled workers from among students of general education schools and issuing relevant certificates.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Policy and other central executive bodies have been instructed to supply the Ministry of Economy with annual information on the labor market demand for skilled workers in order to develop a state plan for training such workers.
