pr_a0658.jpgOn November 3, Yulia Tymoshenko visited the epicenter of the epidemic in Ukraine - the Ivano-Frankivsk oblast, where she examined the conditions of the oblast clinical hospital for infectious diseases. Yulia Tymoshenko became the first Ukrainian prime minister to visit an infectious diseases hospital.

The clinic's chief doctor Roman Ostiak thanked Yulia Tymoshenko's Cabinet of Ministers for its assistance and support during the outbreak of the flu epidemic in Ukraine.

The government quickly supplied necessary volumes of medicine to hospitals in the quarantine zone, Roman Ostiak reported. He personally thanked the Prime Minister for her troubles and attention.

According to Roman Ostiak, hospitals have all the necessary medicine for the month ahead and are admitting all patients.

Ivano-Frankivsk governor Mykola Paliychuk noted that the situation in the region is stabilizing.

The oblast has all the necessary medicine, specifically Tamiflu, gauze masks, and all safety measures have been taken.

"I think with the joint efforts of the government and oblast state administration, in a few days the situation will be even better," said Mykola Paliychuk.
