Yulia Tymoshenko satisfied with construction of Kharkiv airport

Yulia Tymoshenko during a working visit to the Kharkiv oblast said she is satisfied with the pace and quality of construction of the Kharkiv airport terminal.

In early December the Cabinet transferred 8 million hryvnias for the construction of the Kharkiv airport. The priority task for the government under conditions of the crisis is to ensure stable financing for priority facilities," Vice Prime Minister Ivan Vasiunyk said then.

Earlier, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko had said that Euro-2012 will unite Ukraine and become its pride. According to her, the government is monitoring preparations for the football championship on a daily basis. The Prime Minister reminded that UEFA gave a high assessment to Ukraine's preparations for Euro-2012.

"Ukraine will make it through the global financial crisis with pride. We are managing to do all the work - construction of stadiums, airports, roads, hotels," Yulia Tymoshenko noted.
