Eugenia Tymoshenko: our family is very worried about my mother’s health
Yulia Tymoshenko’s daughter Eugenia says her family is worried about her mother’s health following her April 20 decision to go on a hunger strike.
"My mother has not been eating for 12 days. We are very worried about her health. It’s the holidays and they’re not letting us see her, and we don’t know what can happen to her during this time. We are very worried," said Eugenia Tymoshenko.
"I appeal to every Ukrainian - don’t be indifferent! If Yanukovych’s regime did this to the former prime minister, think about what they can do to you?" she said.
Yulia Tymoshenko’s husband Oleksandr as well as public and religious figures have issued statements urging the ex-premier to end her hunger strike.
