Serhiy Vlasenko: documents proving Yulia Tymoshenko’s innocence have disappeared from the case

pr_b0718.jpgLawyer Serhiy Vlasenko says that documents proving Yulia Tymoshenko’s innocence disappeared from the case file during the pre-trial investigation in the case involving United Energy Systems of Ukraine.

"We’re almost getting used to documents proving Yulia Tymoshenko’s innocence disappearing. This already happened once. During the trial in the Shevchenkivsky District Court suddenly the decision of the Supreme Court from November 11, 2005 legalizing the closure of the criminal case against Yulia Tymoshenko for absence of a crime disappeared from the case file," Serhiy Vlasenko told journalists today in Kharkiv.

The lawyer also pointed out that the documents given to Yulia Tymoshenko to review were not prepared correctly. "The case materials they’ve given for review have been stitched but not sealed. So tomorrow they’ll resew them and insert other sheets," he added.
