Batkivshchyna leader Yulia Tymoshenko says that if they receive strong support in the parliamentary elections, her party will be able to find a common language on many important issues with the new President of Ukraine and his team, and start fulfilling the priority tasks to raise the standard of living.
“A strong parliamentary coalition with Batkivshchyna is needed because we can help new politicians understand a lot of important issues. This coalition should be formed so that Ukraine’s next chance after the presidential election is not wasted and lost,” Yulia Tymoshenko said on the program “Great Evening” on the TV channel NewsOne.
According to the politician, the Batkivshchyna team disagrees with Servant of the People and Voice on certain issues, in particular on medical reform, the opening of the agricultural land market, tariff reduction, and the sale of state-owned property, but “it will be possible to find a common language” if politicians really want to work in the interests of people.
“I think that we can find the truth, and work out a logical way of development for Ukraine,” she said.
“I want to see a strong, European and successful Ukraine in my lifetime. And then I will know that my life was not in vain. That is our goal. And if the Zelensky and Vakarchuk teams have the same goal, then I am convinced that we will find a common language with them,” concluded Yulia Tymoshenko.
