Batkivshchyna will take part in the early parliamentary elections independently, as it has a strong professional team that can work effectively and bring changes in the country.
“We are ready to work with those political forces that support our New Course for Ukraine, that want to fundamentally change the economic strategy and lower tariffs. But we will be running independently,” Yulia Tymoshenko said on Ukrainian Radio.
She politician said it was important for her and her party to create conditions tthat will allow Ukrainians to be happy.
“For me people were never just the electorate. And this is the essence of my work in politics: I have always tried to do what the people of Ukraine need,” she said.
Yulia Tymoshenko also said people should be talking about what the new government and the new president should be doing, not unity or division among politicians.
“Our team is not in opposition to the new president. We want to give him the New Economic Course, which if implemented can produce fundamental changes in Ukraine. It will allow us in 5 years to be on the same level as Poland and develop the country further. We do not plan to create opposition groups – we want to help the president who the people elected,” said the Batkivshchyna leader.
