Batkivshchyna Party leader Yulia Tymoshenko has welcomed the signing of the economic part of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union.
“I welcome the signing today of the second part of the association agreement, but we must understand that this is a plan signed for the reformation and modernization of the country. The signing of the agreement doesn’t mean the end of our problems. It is the start of very hard work, and it will be very difficult to stand on our feet while there is a war,” Yulia Tymoshenko said today at the main military hospital in Kyiv, where she visited soldiers that were wounded in eastern Ukraine.
“First we need to end the war and then get on our feet as a strong European state,” she said.
