Batkivshchyna faction leader Yulia Tymoshenko believes that reports by Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman and members of his Cabinet of Ministers are not on the parliament agenda because shadow backstage agreements continue between certain political players.
“I don’t believe that two-thirds of parliament is waiting for a report by the prime minister on how the country lives, or rather doesn’t live. All this is a political backstage dance, when one group of politicians led by the president of the country wants to remove Groysman, and another is preventing this,” Yulia Tymoshenko said during a briefing after the coordinating council of parliament faction and committee leaders.
The parliamentarian stressed that Batkivshchyna has never been a party to these “shadow ritual dances” making it difficult to predict who will “win behind the scenes.”
“But what we do know is that the struggle is for the right to plunder the country, not for the right to restore order in the state. I don’t care the name of the prime minister under this president, because they will all have one surname and cover up the same schemes,” she said.
Yulia Tymoshenko also said that the issue of government reports was not discussed at the coordinating council and therefore has not been scheduled.
“We must wait until the issue appears on the agenda, and then the Batkivshchyna faction will publicly give information on this,” the politician said.
