Presidential candidate and Batkivshchyna Party Leader Yulia Tymoshenko has called on Ukrainians and the democratic forces to unite ahead of the presidential election to to counter falsification and ensure the elections are fair and transparent.
“If we want to have a successful state, we have to unite, and not be divided by language, religion or territory, as happens with every election,” Yulia Tymoshenko said during a rally in Zashkiv, Cherkasy region.
The politician recalled that she and other candidates from opposition forces signed a memorandum on fair elections.
“All the opposition forces are fighting falsification and dishonesty together,” she said.
Yulia Tymoshenko expressed outrage that President Petro Poroshenko is using dirty election tricks and said that criminal proceedings were initiated based on evidence of election violations Batkivshchyna provided to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and personally to Minister Arsen Avakov.
